This excursion takes you to 1 ½ hour drive southwest of Dubai, through spectacular desert scenery to the oasis of Al Ain. It is the birthplace of Sheikh Zayed, the Former president of UAE.

First we stop at HILI OASIS. It is a peaceful walk through the trees alongside the Falaj, the ancient irrigation system.

Next stop is the PALACE MUSEUM (Except Mondays). The former palace of Sheikh Zayed is now a museum where the visitors are shown the private quarters and meeting rooms of the President. Built in 1937 it has been restored giving a fascinating insight into Sheikh Zayed’s life.

The excursion begins with a drive through desert landscape via Oasis AL DAID to MASAFI. Just before reaching Masafi, we stop at the local "FRIDAY MARKET", which has been set up by traders years ago. You can find everything from fruit and vegetables to houseplants, toys, pottery items, carpets and small gifts.

Our journey continues through the rugged HAJAR MOUNTAINS and climbs down to the azure waters of the gulf of Oman until you reach the wonderful, picturesque old fishing village of DIBBA. On the way further you will visit BIDIYAH MOSQUE, which is best known as the oldest mosque in UAE and special studies have proven that the mosque was built as far back as in 1446. Our route takes us along the coastline to Khorr Fakkan.

On the way back you will pass by FUJAIRAH, the only one Emirate at the East Coast.

Sharjah is the third largest of the seven Emirates and was named "the cultural capital of the Arab World" by UNESCO due to its commitment to art, culture and preserving its heritage.

The first stop is at the KING FAISAL MOSQUE-opened in 1987.

We continue to the HERITAGE AREA, where we explore the AL HISN PALACE (Sharjah Fort), built in 1820. It is a real masterpiece representing the old Arab architecture.

The tour continues to SOUQ AL ARSA, which is said to be the oldest souk in Sharjah and the UAE. The souk has been beautifully restored and you can pick up some good souvenirs and antiques. We continue along SHARJAH CORNICHE ROAD pass by the RULER’S BEACH PALACE, WOMAN’S CLUB, FRUIT & VGETABLE & FISH MARKETS. Drive back to Dubai along BUHAIRAH CORNICHE.
